Position Summary:

This position will replace contract employees currently handling this role. Due to tremendous growth, they are in immediate need of an experienced, analytical, non-selling financial planner / financial advisor. The right candidate will shine behind the scenes building sound fee-based financial plans, making investment recommendations and placing trades for customers.

 

You will work directly along side the owner of this successful branch as you help build the Financial Planning division of this office. You will not be prospecting or selling to new clients but instead taking ownership of the financial planning decisions and assisting in the presentation of these plans for high and medium net-worth clientele. Current financial services and financial planning experience is a must.

 

 

 

Part-time / Full-Time

/ Contract

Full-time, estimated 40 hr. work week

 

 

Client Summary:

Our client is one of the most recognized Financial Advisors in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and is employed by one of the largest and most recognized financial advisory firms in the USA. Join a 157 year old company specializing in supplying high and medium net-worth investors with sound financial planning and investment strategy.

 

           

 

Salary Range:

$40,000-45,000 estimated base salary

Realistic 1st year bonus potential: $25,000-30,000

Estimated 1st year total compensation: $65,000-70,000

 

 

Compensation Package Includes:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and producing financial plans for clients
  • Making investment recommendations suitable for client’s objectives
  • Making investment trades
  • Monitoring client accounts
  • Support financial advisor(s) and team
  • Research industry trends and new product offerings
  • Interacting with clients by phone with questions and meeting with clients in data-gathering appointments.

Education / Experience / Training

  • REQUIRED LICENSES: Series 7, Series 63
  • PREFERRED LICENSES/Designation: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Group 1 Texas Insurance, Series 65, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
  • REQUIRED: Detailed understanding of insurance, ETF’s (Exchange Trade Funds), investment and estate planning strategies and products
  • REQUIRED: 2+ years financial advisor/planning experience working with high and medium net-worth clients
  • PREFERRED: 4 year college degree
