Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a sales professional with at least 5 years of experience selling major remodel/construction solutions to the restaurant and/or convenience store industry/environment. They prefer you have sold turnkey interior finish-out, resets and remodels within those industries. But are looking for those sales professionals that have firm knowledge of these industries and the ability to leverage your contact base to gain more opportunities for our client.

IMPORTANT: To be considered for this Sales Director position, you MUST have at least 5 years experience selling construction, finish-out or remodeling services in the restaurant and/or convenience store industry.

 

You will act in a key corporate role selling turnkey retail service solutions representing a 600+ employee company that is known as one of the most successful companies in the industry. You will also maintain an existing client base and help maximize profitability from that group.

 

This is a rather long sales cycle industry that requires you to be patient and diligent in your business development approach. You will reap major financial and career advancement rewards for your hard work and dedication.

 

 

Client Overview:

Our client is the industry-leading retail services solution provider. They perform complete turnkey projects for major, well known retailers and convenience stores that include:  program management, store and fixture design, site surveys, logistic and consolidation services, construction management, store and fixture installation.

 

This company has experienced 35% growth every year since start-up in 1990 and work with some of the largest retailers in the United States. Large-scale growth, expansion and promotion opportunities abound.

           

 

Salary Range:

$84,000-90,000 base, Plus UNLIMITED commission potential.

 

 

 

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Outstanding total comp package, including exceptional pay and big-company benefits including lucrative 401k matching, fantastic training and many other perks and benefits.

 

 

 

Duties Include:

  • Prospect and identify potential clients in the restaurant and convenience ctore industry.
  • Cold-call, set appointments and make presentations about the benefits of the turnkey service solutions.
  • Identify specific client needs.
  • Lead strategy teams to develop client solutions to win business.
  • Manage current accounts to maintain existing relationships and develop further revenue activity.
  • Travel when necessary to visit clients and make presentations. Our client tries to minimize travel for all employees.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and conferences when necessary to help maximize brand recognition and prospect clients.

 

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience selling in RESTAURANT and CONVENIENCE STORE environment is REQUIRED for consideration. Client prefers commercial construction-based solution selling in these industries.
  • Knowledge of key decision-makers in the restaurant and convenience store arena.
  • Experience cultivating accounts in a longer sales cycle.
  • Ability to show a track record of sales success to the restaurant and convenience store industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Degree in Business, Marketing or sales-related major preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of any or all of the following is a huge plus: store planning, commercial construction, drawings, retail/restaurant design, store planning, visual presentations, fixtures, appliances and floor plans.
